Sounds like there is a good chance I'll be there though dependent on another thats already RSVP'd in this thread, I'd love to mingle with my root family in stead of being a hermit like usual.
I stopped through in 2nd week of october 2013 and it was dead, really lookin forward to this!
 
My girlfriend and I are headed for the west coast now, plan on hitching down the coast from San Francisco. So Id say well probably end up coming.

yeah, i'm sure she'll be okay, and there's people watching her place for her. i'm waiting to see what the details are and when she's getting out.

i doubt this is going to affect the jambo if anyone is curious. even if something happened to the library we'd still meet up in the slabs and build our own camp.

On a side note, is anyone bringing instruments? or are you in a band? we need more music at the jambo!
 
i hope to make it out there if life allows me to. I've been on hiatus from traveling dealing with boyfriend getting a dui and psychiatric appointments hoping to eventually having money in our pockets. Expect us though, i'm marking this one down and hope to come out....my cars not the best and can barely make it up the grapevine between Bakersfield and LA with especially with extra wait. But if someone needs a ride from LA i have room. The way it's looking as of NOW....i have room for two if they don't mind a very, very tight fit. Like i said though, not for sure. i'll let you know for a fact when the time comes.

Oregon took us 2 weeks to walk hitch the coast man... This year has been hard trampin the 10!

I'm saving up a little more cash before I head out, plus waiting for my friend's baby to come screaming out of her birth canal. I want to greet the little one before I skip town.
Sounds like a fucking rad get together, though. You guys go nuts.
 
I wonder where the nearest money making is, calipatria? there's a walmart down there, I wonder if its possible to top off one's reserves of human/dog food and cooking fuel/gasoline.
Anyone ever have any luck getting provisions nearby to the slabs?
