I suck at talking about myself, and not totally sure what to put here. My name's Anna. I just joined this site. Hi.

Writer/traveler/anarchist/lover of all things spiritual. Trying to figure out if it is possible to change society from within (lulz).

Part of why I'm on here (other than just connecting with folks) is that I'm looking into doing a PhD studying anarchist justice in practice and methods of addressing injustice outside the state. Specifically looking at community-centered alternatives (transformative justice, community accountability, others?) and interested in connecting with communities that disengage from the state in different ways. If anyone wants to chat about that, shoot me a message! I'll be lurking around boards and maybe reaching out to some people on that front.

I'm currently bumming around California, might be hitting the road again soon. If anyone's got info on Colombia, Cuba, and/or Quebec, talk to me.

I just moved back to the US from Haiti, so if anyone's interested in talking about travel there or bitching about the imperialism that is "international development," hit me up.
