If your from generational poverty as well, you can probably understand and you yourselve taken similar paths to "make it" as I have and continue to attempt.
I'm looking to become debt free by foregoing rent, in hopes, I can focus on graduating college and having life altering surgeries to better my quality of life(medical conditions developed while living high risk/high vulnerable; injuries and malnutrition).
I'm middle aged and have experienced homelessness periodically since early childhood, I've owned cars which I've lived in previously and lived in rental rooms most of my adult life.
I have 2 jobs full-time. I participate in the arts when I can. I'm currently completing varies skills and trade assessments and exploring other self help options.
I am also looking into work exchange programs/agreements, no progression yet due to financial prerequisites.
