Somebody once told me, "Volunteering doesn't pay the bills." That someone does not understand my quest for knowledge. I am an experienced wwoofer, volunteer, and lover of manual labor.
I spent the summer of 2011 living and working outside in Alaska. Swingin' tools all day, drinking hard when work was done, and sleeping in a tent for four months with the Alaskan wilderness as my backyard was an amazing experience.
I also love to cook and I play the ukulele (poorly).
