Grew up in New York City. Worked with youth for years (AmeriCorps in Boston, Camp Marrowbone on Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota, mentored kids in engineering). I worked on educational technology at the University of Illinois before becoming a corporate drone in Chicago and hating that.
I quit my job last year, hiked 1800 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail and moved to Los Angeles where I had some family. Since then I've been bumming around and trying to figure out what I want in life. My original dream was to fight education inequality with technology and I'd like to head back on that path eventually. But for now I am traveling and exploring.
Pretty depressed/anxious my entire life which has led me to be interested in psychedelics, meditation and the likes, but I'm still just beginning my journey there.
Hobbies: hiking/backpacking, motorcyling (unfortunately stolen during the pandemic. RIP my little CB500F. The little guy took me all the way from Chicago to LA in three days), music (math rock anyone?), cooking and especially baking, webcomics, a bit of videogames.
