I am surviving on the hope of living an unconnected life. I am right smack in the middle of rat race. Stuck in a lonely, loveless marriage. And I'm miserable. I've contemplated suicide numerous times over the past four years. The thing that keeps me going? My connection to nature and peaceful solitude. I get away to backpack, hike and fish as often as I can but it's not enough. I long for the day when I can leave all this behind and escape into nature for the rest of my life. It's coming soon....
