What have we done to this planet? We build parking lots over green grass , shopping centers over forest and highways over mountains . We spend our whole lives going to school, so we can go to work, so we can have money, so we can buy a big house and then fill it with useless crap. And yet so many of us still feel empty...so what's the point in doing any of it?


Smart Phones so we can avoid human interaction, fast food so we can be unhealthy, fat and lazy , closets full of clothes so we feel cool amongst the others, dating sites so we can search for "love", and reality shows so we can learn stupid shit from terrible role models. What happened to having a conversation during dinner without a distraction, to growing and cooking our own food, to feeling good about yourself for who you are inside, to letting love come when its good and ready, and to watching shows with good morals and inspiring people.


Its true i partake in many of theses things because it can be hard or even scary to live in the world without them. I no longer want to live the life that society has made us feel we should live. Perhaps I have just become a crazy dirty hippy because I just want to live as close to nature as possible. I want to build one of those tiny houses on wheels and park it on the most beautiful place I can find. Everyday I want to create things with my own hands, bathe in the lake, run with the animals, hunt/gather my own food, dance around the fire, see the stars through untainted skys, make passionate & meaningful love, and wake up every morning excited to do it all again the next day.
