I'm pretty firmly rooted on a ten acre homestead in Northern Minnesota called Rat Farm but close enough to get into town at least once a month. I'm big into metal, especially folk metal and am trying to forge a self-reliant life utilizing small scale homesteading and "frugal survival". I write an article for The Country Grind (a paper for/by rural punks) and blog about that and life on the homestead. I also do art in the way of drawings, comics, zines, painting, sculpture, resin casting, art dolls, etc. My site is home base and an archive for everything. As my son gets older I'm looking to do some occasional travels throughout North America and abroad.
Currently working at a feedstore, doing local farmers markets, freelancing art/writing, raising the kid with my spouse, and trying to get my homestead into shape and expand gardens/edible landscapes and livestock.
