    yes do your research... i'm not a hopper never have yet... but the vets like hwm here are telling you what you need to know... is that you need to know that hopping is something to learn research and be crazy carfull about yourself. If you dont have the balls to figure it out then you shouldn't be on the lines. (and once your there if you meet good folks.. i figure you will learn from they're experience as well)

    Ive grown up around trains my entire life man i used to hop over them to get to the gas station i knkw they sre dangerous and ive been talking BOM and he is seriously a mad genious and has helped me a lot
