Catching out of PA to Norfolk VA, alone.

EAST COAST. Catching out of PA to Norfolk VA, alone.

Whats STP's thoughts on this? I plan on hitchhiking to Harrisburg and catching out there down to Norfolk. Norfolk is my destination but anywhere in Virginia is also acceptable. It should be a pretty easy ride down there right? I hear Norfolk hates train hoppers though, and I probably should be worried about getting caught in Baltimore.
 
why dont you hitch to philly, take the mainline to richmond, then ride coal to newport news, va (norfolk). seems it would be much quicker that way.

What has your experience been catching out of Philly. I'm about to go through there in November on my way to FL and was thinking about being a tourist for a day.
