Hello fellow derelicts and vagabonds!
Well, as the title says, I totally forgot about this forum and how invaluable it is towards surviving (and thriving) in a nomadic lifestyle.
First got my taste of travel in my early 20s (I'm 36 now) and loved digging through the threads here.
After an attempt at a normie life (family, rent, regular jobs, etc.) for the past 10+ years, I finally came back full circle to the realization that I'm really happiest and feel most authentic in the urban nomadic lifestyle.
I moved out a cush house, quit my cush job, and stopped paying debts and bills about 5 months after my last attempt to be a "family man" didn't work out.
I guess it's one of those things where you can take me off the street, but you can't take the streets out of me type things.
Anyway, I'm in San Antonio, Texas currently trying to figure out how to get a van or camper whilst also juggling custody visits with my 2 kids.
I'm looking forward to connecting with other like minded people and communities here who I can get tips and advice from and hopefully have something to offer back.
