Me (m22) and a friend(m21) would like to start a huge hitchhiking tour. But we both have absolutely no experience.
I hope this Forum will help me to get an idea if this is even possible for us.

Not much hitchhiking experience here (yet), only did it once in Germany just to try it out (45 minute trip from somewhere in the Westerwald where I live to Köln).

But I second what the others said. Here you will get lots of information. Hitchwiki is very resourceful as well.

On reddit you'll find useful info, too. Especially /r/hitchhiking and /r/vagabond ...
