Hi everyone, feeling immensely grateful that I've found this community, I've been needing this for a long time! Just a lil bit about me, I'm currently based in the UK, spent some time traveling through Portugal last year and absolutely loved it. I guess I just want to meet more people in the UK or who are traveling here whilst covid is happening. Also been looking on how to make the most of being stuck in one place when you're itching to be on the road. Anyways, I'm really shy so I'll probably get better at talking on here once I've been lurking a bit longer

Hi Sian... i'm a fellow UK resident with a couple of things in common - I'm also from the N.W of England (20 miles south of Manchester) and also a lover of Portugal - we stayed in the very centre near the Sierra Estrella for about 8 months and would love to go back... the area we were in has been a hotspot for vehicle dwellers for decades and there's a great scene with interesting people always coming and going - land can be bought for unbelievably cheap round there, although its tough to make a living....
