Orange county is quite the culture shock, now I realize why they call portland the whitest metropolis...

I'm 20 and totally broke, staying with a friend, thinking about busking around...

I'm not a fan of the people in SC but the beaches are nice

the beaches are nice, this is true. i went to the beach today. but every time i ask anyone if they are hiring, they look at me like i'm insane.

Thats because all the young people who live there have trust funds. No ones crazy enough to get a "job" there.

i suppose this is true, but you'd think that would leave plenty of room for me to get all the jobs i wanted! i'm thinking about heading into SF at some point to look for work and bum around for a while, the weather has been so nice.
