Lou Bandeira

Hard to believe nobody's said anything on here. I'd heard about Lou Dog from close mutual friends of ours for years. Two days before he passed, I met him for the first time at the Rock Room in PGH, just up the street from his house. I recognized him from pictures I'd been shown, and went up to say hi. We chatted, and made plans to hang out over a few beers that weekend. The night before I was supposed to go over to his place, I heard that he'd passed. Plenty of people said plenty of things about him, but my closest friends held him in high regard, and I know he went well out of his way to be there for plenty of people during his short time with us. Last year took far too many, and that week in particular took more than I could've imagined.

RIP Lou.

I knew Lou Dog back when I lived in Pittsburgh, and he was always really fun to hang out with. He had a kid, too. I always liked him, and he always made me smile.
