hi, my name is kel, i'm living around nashville tn. i grew up by tracks & around trains. have always been very attached to the railroad. in high school my rural friends & i would hang around bridges, train tracks, catch-out spots to drink or whatever and we met a lot of travelers and we hopped short-distance; i miss it and i'm nostalgic about that sort of sense of community & all that, so here i am. i spend all my time these days alone in the places i spent my teen years, being sappy, lonely, and bored (and broke) - not traveling right now but hope to in the spring or summer. mostly here for the cool stories, & maybe to meet people to travel with in the next year or so. hi to all!

Welcome Kel! ha if I spent my days now where I grew up as a teen - it would be in the fields and swamps - but I was not bored, didn't care what broke was - ha was more interested in the green vine snake and turtles I spotted earlier. hehe - now I could do that today ... but anyway - glad you joined - there is a lot here and time for you to plan for some travels in the Spring
