Only in Arizona

Why only Arizona?

It seems like that's the only U.S. state

where it's actually achievable to squat successfully

since the law says it's only 3 years.

Personally,

I wouldn't mind possibly having an arrangement

that helps people squat by helping with the remodeling

and/or other chores.

Flagstaff is one of the only places I've known people to hold down a squat long enough for it to go legit this century in the US, but that was primarily because the out of state owner worked something out with them. I've squatted in Tucson and have known others who have also, and in and around Phoenix but nothing's lasted as long as Fort Oogle in Flag.

That written, I've squatted the most in Oakland, CA, and known the most other squatters there also, circa 2013-'15. There were some long standing places there around then.
