Millions of children around the world are born into poverty, with no access to food, clean water, or basic sanitation. On the other hand, millions of children around the world are also born in areas where their basic needs are often taken for granted.

Where Children Sleep is a collection of stories from children around the world told through the pictures of their bedrooms, brought to us by photographer James Mollison

... wow. It's easy to forget there's real poverty out there. On the other hand, some of these aren't necessarily "typical", whether poor or not. Still.... wow

Some of theese kids have it better than others, but I was always told it's not about what you have, but what you have in your heart. One may have more than the other but does not mean that he is better than the one with less. The world would be a better place if people would learn this.

Each of these rooms is nicer than what I had on the street. It does make me thankful for what I have now, a couple appear to be nicer than my current living conditions.

Wow - the kid with the little goat on his shoulders - and his sleeping area is ... well the goat's stall. ::bawling::

As always @wizehop - good catch!
