SaberCut Saw

You can tie paracord around the handles of the sabre saw and throw it over a branch to cut up high, but its a pain in the ass and you pretty much have to stand right under it, which isnt very safe. I like the folding saw because its really easy to use and cuts fast, especially the kershaw, which has a really good tooth design, cuts on both strokes.

Used one of those before, they are just awful. At least you didn't pick one with the metal rings for handles.

This Gerber is half the price and is positively amazing to use:

If you search, like yahoo shopping or something, you can find a kershaw for just a little more than the Gerber. Gerber's quality is shit now. The Kershaw is a quality saw and not that expensive.

Uhh on the risk of sounding like a stooge. isnt this just a chainsaw blade? im looking at this and saying i could rig this together with a chainsaw blade and paracord! am i right?

I prefer my Laplander. It takes up more space but its light and chews thru wood like a Lil angry beaver
