Hey folks, this month's donations have gone towards paying for a new addon called ElasticSearch. This addon for the forum software will significantly improve website searches. Different kinds of word matching along with advanced algorithms will help bring the most accurate results to your forum searches.
This should include things like the ability to do relatively complex search queries if you want, like "searchterm1 + searchterm2" (i.e. AND) or "searchterm1 | searchterm2" (i.e. OR) and phrases like "mexico city" using quotes. You can even use * as a wildcard to search for everything within a certain forum or thread prefix, etc. In general though, you should notice a big improvement to the results you get when using the search (especially the advanced search).
The cost of this addon was $55 usd, with a yearly license renewal of $10/year to receive updates/technical support. Thank you to everyone who donated this month!
