Hey all,
new here, read the welcome to STP- heaps of good info.
Have looked around this site a few times in the last few years but signed up yesterday as I spent some time with Jim Stobe (RIP) in the states and had planned on riding with him and him possibly coming to Aus. I'm gutted by the news and now i'm here looking to hopefully meet someone to have a beer with and talk trains.

I'm up in Brissy but will probably be in Melbourne for a bit early next year. Have done a heap of travelling but not much riding - always up for a beer and a chat!

im in Tasmania! sure beer and a yap and I reckon I could put you up on my floor too( I live in a shipping container!)

CHEERS! Yeah hopefully moving around a bit next year... About to head to Adelaide for a few then maybe Tas next trip.. That would be sweet! I will totally hit you up! Yell out if you in Melb too!

Quite late, but I’m trying to head back that way in the next week. I have yet to ride but I’d be keen to talk and beer!
