  • Also haven't been spending enough time on my boat to really do a write up. I've been hopping the country visiting friends before I settle down and sail south.
The seller of the Pearson 30 backed out last minute. I am not accepting defeat though I now have my eyes on a freshly rebuilt cherubini 27, wish me luck!
I'm weighing between two boats right now a Pearson 30 and a Dufour 27. They both come with slips and fully sailable. Does anyone want to vouch for one or the other.

I'm getting the Pearson thanks y'all. I'll probably post some little write up on my journey to get the boat with some picture of the boat as well.
Welp I've done a buncha random miles lately, the rails are good and kickdowns are plenty. I'm roaming round Michigan now trying to get a sailboat to get around the lakes for the last bit of summer.

It went smooth, everyone in green river and elko were really nice. I don't recommend getting off in sparks, because its swarming with tweakers.
Im in the bay headed to reno tonight, had a good week with good people and good miles. The tehachapi loop gets prettier every time.
In reno, and its probably my new home base for a while.

What are you doing there? I'm two hours east of you.
Mariposa IM facility is far from any store or anything at all really.

Highly recommend checking out the, over 100 year old, cemetery across from that gas station if you're ever in the area.
3,000+ miles in a week and let me tell you, im tired. Most of it was on train but a couple hitches and probably 150-200 miles on a bike.
For years now I've been told to check out r/vagabond and I looked into it. Its terrible and I'm glad i haven't met those people.

the guy that runs that reddit will ban you just for disagreeing with him. then he usually goes on some psycho tyrade about whatever and it makes him look like a real psycho then i guess he comes down off the meth and realizes what he did and deletes the post (along with any other posts that question him).
Has anyone rode the golden state route this year? Im hitching that way right now and last i knew the cc point for vaughn was in a new spot outside of town.
I feel uncomfortable with all of the transphobic micro-aggressions being thrown around here lately. I also feel uncomfortable standing up in defense of trans folk, me included, in fear of developing discourse without the consequence of proper accountability.
