I'm a 25-year old guy, and kinda new to this whole scene. Check out my profile for more info. From Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Once hopped a train with my buddy and hitched a lot in Thailand.

We're currently on a little excursion, hitched to our current location in Thunder Bay, heading out tomorrow to Toronto, and hitting up Montreal, Cornerstone Fest in Illinois, and Pennsylvania in the upcoming two months. We're hoping to go rail at some point, the yard in Thunder Bay looks pretty basic.

Of course, I'm looking to engage in this forum and toss some info back and forth, and make a few friends. Let me know if you're headed towards Winnipeg. I'm also a CouchSurfing host.
 
Hm. Judging by the fact that you're going to Cornerstone, I'd say you're coming to PA for either Purple Door or Creation.

Actually, the original point of going to Pennsylvania was to check out the social/community minded church scene down there. There's more than a few travelers involved down there. But apparently it's getting too much attention, so we have to figure out something else to do. The point of our summer trip is to volunteer and learn about the street side of things, so if you have any suggestions as to things to check out in Penn, please do.

Also, do you know any of the traveler's who attend Cornerstone from Penn?

I will be back home by the end of July. I will be crashing at my rents in Steinbach (45 minutes away from WPG) until I find a place to live in Winnipeg, which should happen before september starts. depending on my living situation, i may or may not be able to host you. I would love to, but I'm leaning right now at living in a community house, so what they think will matter. Whatever, keep in touch and i'll try to make it work out.

However, it is impossible for me to find that name in search wihtout getting 300+ "maxes" Can you link me to your profile?

Well, we're going to be camping and couchsurfing so I'm sure we'll be totally fine for places to crash regardless. Making contacts of people to kick it with is rad too!
