The owners of this Caribbean Island off the Coast of Belize are looking for help constructing their community. Looks like a good deal to me. There's some info at the link below.

Disclaimer: I have not been to this Island and I don't know the people who own it. I saw this on a thread on facebook and thought it looked like a really interesting and amazing opportunity for somebody either already in Belize or somebody able to get there. From the posts I read on facebook it all seems pretty legit, but as I said I cannot vouch personally for how great it is/isn't.
 
This sounds really great... if you can get there cheap and then just swing the boat trip... one fifty Belize they say but just checked thats... seventy five and change USD.

From the comments though, seems like people are there for a short stay, ten days, a few weeks maybe?
Wonder if there is room for a longer term situation...

I would love to be a part of something like this. I wonder, if you stayed long enough and contributed enough, and of course clicked with them, would they be open to a more permanent option? id love to have my little getaway shack in belize. one can dream
