Headed west

Not travelled in a while but I'm planning on packing my bag and heading to Chicago from St Louis and from there, work my way west.

I feel rusty. Haven't freight hopped since I was in my teens.

This is something I need to do.
 
I just left St Louis like a week or two ago. The yard was easy. Def stuff going to illinois.

My hometown is Belleville, Illinois . I always end up back there no matter how long I tramp around.

I did the StL to Chicago trip and am aiming for KC and on to westward states.

I packed light and usually grab this or that gear as I go. Gonna hustle and sign here for a few days and get a sewing kit and some paracord.

I'll check back in here when I get to KC. Chicago yards look hard and I need to get back in shape to run the tougher yards. Gonna hitch it through Iowa and bus it around till my money runs out. Hopefully getting to KC.
 
Im a bit of a loner, but when I get further west and if anyone's near and wants to camp or kick it in a park come holler at me.
