Hey! I'm Mourning Dove. (aka MD, Dove, Mo D, M Dizzle ... ) I'm currently in Madison, WI. I'm recording an album out here and then will be taking off before it gets too cold. It would be great to find some folks to travel with or meet up with along the way. I'm still brainstorming about where I'll be headed next. I have a few ideas. It would be cool to go on a tour and set up shows - paying gigs, or tips and drinks, or even just open mics and busking (probably a mix of all of those). I could also use a nature fix.

I've been in the Midwest for a couple months now. I love it here, but when I'm not travelling, I feel kind of lost. That's starting to happen again, so I know I'll need to move on soon. Would love to find some like minds. It's cool if you're not a musician, too. Hit me up.

Very cool and welcome to STP - you may want to post a similar intro/looking for traveleres kinda thing in our road dog subforum too - looking for likewise people to travel with as well. So you are recording atm - Do you have any vids, etc out there that we can hear? And again welcome aboard here.

Being rich... or famous... is not all it's cracked up to be.

I think... I believe it is more lonely..... :(

I hope you can share the music you have inside you and follow what you feel is good for people around you. ;);)
 
Welcome to STP @Mourning Dove .... interesting name... a pretty bird knowns for its peaceful flight... and ... I'm a bit grumpy most times... but I love a good mourning...

Sometimes with Java...

Well, I'd love to go back to Hawai'i, but funds will be short, and I really want to go somewhere new. Nashville and Austin sound worth checking out, but really, I'm pretty open right now. Kind of just seeing where the universe is going to take me.
