get an ebt card. search out local missions. Always have an eye out for good camping spots. Locally the cemetery has some spots. . Avoid sketchy people. Use the local library.

Libraries are a great local resource, and they are free.. If you are new to an area, instead of sitting on the curb, go check out the local library. I've seen more travelers at the library here in Boulder than any other place..
