Cool read! That qoute is the most popular tattoo to have on one's feet in my experience. (second is "always safe" on the right, "never careful" on the left.)
Never knew the whole qoute, certainly changes its intention a bit.

I always traveled to GET lost. All my passions stem from thier ability to lose myself in them. Mom's spaghetti. Flow by Mihaly csikszentmihalyi is a good book on this.

I liked the authors idea on boxes and being bored of them once your in them.
Having varied interests has led me in and out of a lot of sub-culture-ish type clicks.
Travellers, ultra runners, psycho-nauts (drug culture), kinksters, lit, music, and art people;
they all have this script that is followed over and over again in conversations that lacks creativity, ingenuity, authenticity. It's boring and lacks mental agility. just bc we're both runners doesnt mean I wanna hear about your training mileage or fueling strategy! There's other shit, man!

If you missed it, mine was a Back To the Future (Doc Brown) reference.

As in

so I said "1.21 gigawatts" , inferring that we would have to Back To The Future to do so.

You know, I DO enjoy a good, diarrhea dump! It's quick and easy, and you only need to wipe once to soak up the juices, and you're done!
