Personal rules, morals, whatever ya call it on the road

Nice bump. I think i have a tendency to make my life more difficult than it need be by trying to live up to some arbitrary set of personal morals, but i realized if don't live up to them then it just makes me more miserable, so it's worth it to me.

Off the top of my head...

1. Don't lie
2. Don't steal
3. Don't solicit charity
4. Don't get into ideological fights with strangers
5. Human powered transport over internal combustion vehicles
6. Public transport over private transport
7. Vegan products over animal products
8. Local produce over imported produce
9. Small businesses over large corporations
10. Leave every place better than you found it

There are a lot of things I wouldn't do, but in context of traveling, one of my biggest rules is not to bring anyone back to my spot unless I know them relatively well (or they're hot)

People like to blow up the spot, have had it happen too many times. Find a good quiet place to hangout, let the wrong person know, and that same night they're out there wasted calling attention to themselves.

There are too many things to list, some people litter casually, I would think that not throwing trash everywhere would go without saying, but whatever.
