fucking winter in maine...

i have some stuff going on in mexico, maybe..
looking at some stuff going on in the bay area..

did last winter in ND, @ fifty fucking degrees below zero...

my van is a diesel, so once she's parked after the cold sets in, she sits, unless she can stay covered..

did winter 2012-13 up in canada..
virginia winters can be a bitch, too..

Thanks, it's pretty amazing. There's a bunch of videos on our youtube channel Farm Punx, we have a backlog of stupid to get on there, but it's more of an accurate representation of what it's like here. We try to keep the page a little less punk.

We're already packing in pretty tight, but we try to make room for anyone who swings by. We'll see how many run south once the snow flies. I love it here, and the winters are fun, snowforts and snowball fights.

how's the wood supply, and how's the heat distribution?

does hot water run in the deep cold, more or less?

in ND i was using a 3' stick to shove shit down the toilet.. not fun, but it worked enough to keep room in the crapper...

We use dogs and oil for heat. The pipes had all burst when I first started staying there, but we fixed most of it, as long as the oil is going the water is fine.
 
i know about this dogs for energy thing..

do you use a 12 or 24 volt system ? ; )

just stopping by to say Eswhy eskay is THE SHIT and y'all should all stop by and help out, if yer cool & nice people. me and a bunch of homies stayed there for a few days in June 2013 and we loved it. glad to hear it's still going strong!
 
Are you fucking kidding me?!?! My girl and I went up to N. Yarmouth Maine to farm and had no idea there was even any punks up there. Felt quite lonely in a town of italian loafer wearing yuppies (Portland ME) Anyways we are from NH and are coming back from the west in may so we are going to have to come up for a bit if ya'll have room by that time.
 
Awww thanks. That was a great summer. We have a janky dumpstered tree fort of death now and a graf art covered basement for house shows. It's come a long way, we even managed to squeeze in some farming. Come by any time.
