After this it was too steep to think about pictures. We did manage to get to the point where the water bubbled out from the side of the mountain and ice floated off from it though.
We found our way back to camp a bit after the sun was setting. Shaman Spellcheck decided to take a walk with Mescalito as we lit a fire and waited for the full moon to come out a few hours later.

Sadly that's all I have from the Rincon exploration.

I do have a few photos from this summer in the Santa Catalina Mountains. This was my pups first trip at about 3.5 months old from Oklahoma to Chicago then Arizona and up into the mountains.
A few miles from the main path.

The wind switched directions and clouds moved in later that evening. Winds got pretty strong so reconfigured the camp into something more storm secure. There's a picture somewhere.
Rained all night was beautiful waking up at four when the light started to hit us. Cool thing was we when we were making coffee an old man and his partner came through with running clothes from the 80's. After splashing in some whiskey we sat and talked with them for an hour or so about separating from the consuming culture and living in the woods taking only what you need as you need it. Then like that they were gone and it was as if they were never there.

We basically made a cave with an opening the opposite side of the wind and rain

thats a beautiful puppy.... gotta chill. thanks for the pics. they are truly ill.... ::cigar::

Thanks, from May to now he's gone from 2 lbs to 57 lbs. His colors have slightly changed. I've got some from Robbers Cave in Oklahoma somewhere that was a good adventure multiple bears and wandering camp dogs plus a meteor shower.

Garth is looking good. That tattoo was on Kat right? I think it was their childhood teddy bears. We met in Tucson, this is HappyXVX I stayed at Garths on and off. Umm I'm the kid with the tattoo of a line across their face. I ran into Garth in Denver later on too, were you also there?

I totally remember we ran in to you and Kat and Cosmo(?) at that show by the highway before Garth's became a camp! I can't remember who played, I wanna say the Moon Bandits. Yeah it was on Kat! I couldn't make it out there with him I was working on a video for a wildlife preservation organization, but he said it was pretty awesome. I had hoped if I posted that picture I would find some of yall ha ha ha

Yeah it was definitely Moon Bandits, they're friends of mine so I went out to see them. Garth actually gave us a ride to Wyoming from Denver. I was with Connor, idk if you ever met him. He was living in Tucson at the time but he's in western mass with Kat now. Ember was with us too. Cosmo is in Washington but headed back to Tucson soon. Same with Kate and Alex, the white short bus kids. I might stop by on my way to Nola but I'm not sure yet. I also don't come on StP all that often.

Oh that's awesome. I think I did, some names and faces just stick out stronger in the mind but the headcount sounds about right. I'm heading back to Tucson in a month or so to get out into the mountains for a bit. Hopefully I'll run in to some people.
