Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted. Now a road trip to Canada has come up, always wanted to go to Newfoundland and now seems like a good time, since I have just bought a van again after 6 years and settling back into the road nomad life.
Any tips for van parking, free or cheap campgrounds , places must visit, may be some local folks who'd like to show around or host for a day ? Also, just wondering if driving around Canada is expensive or more do then the US?

Thanks for taking your time to respond , cheers!

Freecampsites website is pretty legit. Onroutes in Ontario, car pool lots, Walmart, edge of industrial areas that are close to neighborhoods..

Hope your trip has been going well. I've never made it to Newfoundland or Labrador, or PEI for that matter. One of the places on my list. Gros Morne looks super cool

You could go up to Sydney, NS... Or port aux Basques, NL and take the ferry across.. I wanted to do it when I was seeing this girl from up that way but never got around to it. Cape Breton is pretty awesome

Hey, how'd your trip end up going? Wondering if you have any tips for car camping in the Maritimes?
I'm gonna be car camping for a month around the Fundy side of NS and I'm having some trouble finding some quality camping spots. Is there any hope of finding some quiet piece of nature to camp out in for at least a few days? Seems like everything out east is private property and no crownland, and I'd like to avoid trespassing if possible.
